Lors de sa naissance, le Papiliorama fut constitu\u00e9 sous la forme d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 anonyme, seule mani\u00e8re d\u2019obtenir des cr\u00e9dits garantis. Apr\u00e8s le gigantesque incendie de 1995, et les innombrables dons du public suisse qui ont permis sa reconstruction, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 anonyme d\u00e9cida, et ce fut une premi\u00e8re, de devenir une fondation d\u2019utilit\u00e9 publique.<\/p>\n<p>Les buts de la fondation sont de faire conna\u00eetre la diversit\u00e9 de la faune et de la flore tropicales et indig\u00e8nes, et d\u2019en promouvoir la protection, en mettant l\u2019accent sur les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Une fondation s\u0153ur du Papiliorama (l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itcf.ch\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"ITCF (opens in a new tab)\">ITCF<\/a>) prot\u00e8ge concr\u00e8tement plus de 11\u2019000 hectares (110 km<sup>2<\/sup>) de nature tropicale au Belize en Am\u00e9rique centrale.<\/p>\n<p>Le Papiliorama est n\u00e9 de l\u2019imagination de son fondateur, Maarten Bijleveld van Lexmond, un biologiste n\u00e9erlandais. Avec sa femme Catheline, il a fond\u00e9 le premier Papiliorama dans le canton de Neuch\u00e2tel en 1988. Le 1er janvier 1995, le Papiliorama a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truit par un incendie majeur. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une \u00e9norme vague de solidarit\u00e9 nationale, la maison tropicale a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconstruite la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e. Le Papiliorama n\u2019ayant gu\u00e8re pu se d\u00e9velopper en raison du manque d\u2019espace \u00e0 Marin, la maison tropicale a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 Kerzers, au c\u0153ur de la region des trois lacs, en 2003. Depuis lors, l\u2019institution est dirig\u00e9e par le directeur Caspar Bijleveld, le fils du couple fondateur.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#papiliorama\">Le Papiliorama<\/a>\u00a0et\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#nocturama\">le Nocturama<\/a>\u00a0\u00e0 Kerzers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverts au public en 2003. Viennent ensuite l\u2019ouverture du\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#zoe-zoo\">minizoo<\/a>, de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#naturspielplatz\">la place de jeu<\/a>\u00a0et du jardin des papillons suisses (aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#chlitierlizaeut\">Chlitierliz\u00e4ut<\/a>) \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. Le troisi\u00e8me d\u00f4me tropical,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#jungle-trek\">le Jungle Trek<\/a>, a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9 en 2008. L\u2019\u00e9tablissement s\u2019enrichit constamment de nouvelles expositions de plus petite envergure.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#papiliorama\">Das Papiliorama<\/a>\u00a0und\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#nocturama\">das Nocturama<\/a>\u00a0in Kerzers wurden 2003 f\u00fcr das Publikum er\u00f6ffnet. Es folgte die Er\u00f6ffnung des\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#zoe-zoo\">Streichelzoos<\/a>, des\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#naturspielplatz\">Spielplatzes<\/a>\u00a0und des Schweizer Schmetterlingsgartens (heute\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#chlitierlizaeut\">Chlitierliz\u00e4ut<\/a>) im Aussenbereich. 2008 wurde mit dem\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.papiliorama.ch\/fr\/nos-expositions-vivantes\/#jungle-trek\">Jungle Trek<\/a>\u00a0der dritte Tropendom fertiggestellt.
